hey parents did you know sleep deprived kids are at greater risk of becoming overweight and as a result for developing type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure the National Sleep Foundation offers these sleep guidelines for kids for preschoolers aim for 11 to 13 hours of sleep a night for elementary school kids 10 to 12 hours for adolescents 9 to 11 hours and for teenagers 8 to 9 hours starting your kids off with proper sleep habits gives them a firm foundation for a healthier future.
