The electric toothbrush is far better than a standard manual brush when removing bacteria and other debris from your teeth. In fact, it is far better in many applications. Self-effleurage or auto massage is perhaps my favorite off-label use. I turn on the power, firmly grasp the brush head, and I’m off to the races. A standard brush simply does not have the reach or horsepower to get the job done. As the electric toothbrush was designed for bacteria removal, I use it for just that to debride and disinfect areas that my standard cleaning supplies have never touched. After my nightly hygiene routine, I bring it along with me to the bedroom as a symbolic gun under my pillow. What an incredibly versatile tool the electric toothbrush truly is.
